This thesis targets at the smart phone. Through the investigation of the life statement of the college students and the usage of mobile, the research, based on the theories of customer satisfaction, psychological evaluation, and sustainable design, articulates the method of Smartphone development in the campus environment. With the guide of sustainable design theory, this paper will not focus on the form or function only, but series of products, service, or theory, to help the consumer to gain high quality life by consuming less.Smartphone is an ideal platform for information and service in the multi-information time, and have certain quantity share in the campus. College students, the main stream of consumers equipped with high level of knowledge and brand acknowledge ability, who are long for change and individuality, have strong desire to explore the new products. Analyzing the group of students, and finding the need inside, has practical meaning for the development and market sale of smart-phone.The research, based on the UCD method, provides guidelines for the establishment of function and form style by building up effective Personas. The Personas is built up by two ways: interview and questionnaire, which can complement each other in the quality. Deep interview is used in the prophase to collect the qualitative information about way of life and individuality, at the same time, the potential need and innovation will be discovered. Then original questionnaire will be used to establish the market analysis and subdivision. Take SD method to evaluate the self-image and the form style of mobile. Take CSI investigate questionnaire to find the using statement of mobile and the attitude of users. At last, the database above will help building up vivid persona, after the modification according to the subdivision model, adopted by the company, which I have practiced in.Based on the persona and the database collected, the paper focus on the realize the real status of the campus smart-phone market all-around, such as consume motivation, consume habit, value tropism etc. Finally, aiming at the need of new function and value, accomplish the resolution of smart-phone service, under the rules of sustainable design.
