The mechanical axis alignment is very important process in assembling, also it's the key to reduce the machine damage, prevent and eliminate sudden breakdown and save repairing time. The laser shaft alignment instrument is the axis alignment equipment of dynamic machine installing and repairing. Make sure the fixed axis and moving axis are at one line via detection and adjustment the precision of relative position of them. Laser shaft alignment instrument with the double cluster and any angles will filling the domestic gaps.The compositions of laser shaft alignment instrument base on the Data-acquisition module and upper-computer software of LabVIEW in the thesis. AVR MUC as the control element of Data-acquisition module, measures the axis misalignment condition indirectly via the obtained position information by means of transmission and receiving of laser, deals with the measurement data through the LabVIEW and shows the axis misalignment condition, then completes the axis alignment. This will reduce the mechanical fault production massively. In practical measurement, optical spot coordinates need to be measured in different angles in order to judge if the axis is alignment and gives out the adjustment quantity of the machine .Data-acquisition module mainly includes the semiconductor laser,position sensitive detector.accelerometer, PSD signal measurement circuit, A/D conversion circuit, tilt angle measurement circuit, temperature measurement circuit and serial communication circuit. The schematic diagram and PCB board are designed in the thesis and program Data-acquisition module via C language. The software component which is utilization of LabVIEW and communication of PC serial port acquisition module, compiles the programs of data acquisition module, tilt angle display module and laser alignment display module, friendly man-machine interface is implemented, figures and characters are directly showed to the users. In the paper writes the proram of mathematical model of double photo-beams laser-Induced alignment and interface program of nonlinear correction. Finally, through theoretic analysis and experimental exploring, the paper analyses the data of tilt angle in the plane and axis alignment condition, discuses testing condition on detection precision of PSD and brings anti-interference means forward. It is achieved the data-acquisition systems of laser shaft alignment instrument for mechanical axis alignment.
