As the rapid growth of the number of college students and education information application platform(such as Educational Administrative System )is getting more frequent. However,with rapid increasing of the number of the system users and concurrent access numbers,server network frquent congest and the data reliability decresed.How to optimize the performance of concurrent access to these clients is a practical valuable research topic which has broader prospects for application..In this paper,according to the complicated bussiness of Educational Administrative System and the large number of concurrent access, we deeply analysis these technologys, which contain Ajax, Smart Client and Web Service.then, starting at the point of Rich Internet Application (RIA), we discuss the performance optimization approach on client access in a concurrent accessing environment.The main procedures are:In order to achieve partial refresh, AJAX is used in the implementation of the system which can make the user experience better and reduce the communication flow between the client and server in the network. In order to fulfill those applications involving sensitive functions, such as tearch and administrator client, smart client is used for data cache and offline operations which can largely improve the stability and security system. At the same time, combining the smart client service-oriented data access methods, a web service based distributed data access basic platform is provided for the data access of the entire system. The asynchronous call of web services on server-side can avoid client obstruction as much as possible which improves the scalability and access performance of the system. Finally, the paper take the Hunan University Educational Administration System for example, clearly described the system design idea and the construction method, and some analysis and discussion have been done on the experiment results.The experiment results show that, the Educational Administration System ,which based on the offline concurrent mode of smart client and the asynchronous communication of AJAX,no only provides a better user experience, but also improves the ability to concurrently access and offers a reference solution for performance optimization in similar concurrent processing environment.
