Design And Implementation Of Spare Part Management System Based On B/S And Smart Client

With the rapid development of world economy and modern technology, Enterprise Informatization has already been the tendency of global development. As the core part of the Tianjin Dredging Company (TDC) informatization, Spare Part Management System plays an important role in the enterprise development.This paper first introduced the business process of Spare Part Management System. The main structure and the models were designed then. The implementation of B/S part and smart client part were discussed in details. In the former structure, three layered structure (Presentation, Business Logic, Database) was employed in the design to satisfy all the business needs. In the latter module, we adopted service-oriented structure to design the smart client. To support this structure, smart client communicated with server using Web Service, off-line business data were kept in XML file, the request from client were cached by Microsoft Message Queue, the data was divided and locked to resolve conflicts, and data security was guaranteed in three ways including identity Authentication, client data security and exception handler. At the end of the thesis, the further development about operation order was discussed on the basis of the summarization of our research work.The System has already been used in Tianjin Dredging Company. The feedback from our client shows that B/S structure can perfectly satisfy all their business needs and Smart Client can successfully deal with the problem caused by the bad network in the ship too.
