Research And Application Of Web System Testing Based On Load Balance

With the rapid development of information technology and Internet technology, Web applications become widely emerged in people's work and learning. As the software industry has been progressing and improving, the web system testing has also become the focus of many companies'attention. Since the web application system is unique, the corresponding methods of testing are supposed to be set up.Web system testing is concentrated on testing system's performance. Performance testing is a type of software testing, and is also an important part of Web system testing. It is rather tough to test the performance of the Web System with combinations of B/S architecture, the complexity of the application and the unpredictability of loading .As a result the solution is adopting the network load balance. In this paper, a serial of performance testing based on load balance has been studied and come up with.Based on the research of Web System performance testing, an automated testing tool is designed and implemented. This testing tool will combine multiple parameters, for example server performance indicators and the user accessing state, to get an full analysis of the system performance. It includes two parts, the front-end user pressure tool and the background server performance monitoring tool. The front-end tool sets the type of testing for the user; the monitoring tool for real-time collects server performance parameters and automatically provides them to the front-end tool for analysis, processing, saving. A combination of two parts, is better and more convenient to understand the server performance, which achieves better testing results.In the practical application of the testing tool, set up testing environment of load balance to simulate the operation of the real environment, and set a large number of various types of testing, and with test parameters obtained through metric analysis, reach a conclusion. Through this process ,it can prove the feasibility of the load balance deployment and to design and implement the testing tool is also reasonable.
