| Recently, RFID(Radio Frequency Identification), with characteristics of High storage capacity, long-distance reading ability, is popular in a lot of fields. It involves Radio Frequency (RF) technology, cryptography, communication fundamentals and semiconductor integrated circuit technologies. RFID chips have advantages of high speed of scan, miniaturization of area, diversification of shape, counteraction of pollution and permanence, repeat using, penetrability, high memory capability, high security, and so on. In short, RFID chips have very good application foregrounds.The paper, based on standard of ISO/IEC 18000-6TypeC, is digital part of RFID tag. In the beginning of the paper, the concept of RFID system, advantages, working frequency, development, field and prospect are introduced. After that, the principle of radio frequency identification technology and protocol are focused, with ISO/IEC 18000-6 TypeC in detail. Then the methods of low power design are introduced, and the clock gated is used in this design. Following the above contents, the whole digital system of RFID tag is discussed and each module is clarified in detail, mainly including communications control, clock produce and manage, reset, encoder, decoder, communal register, command compare, CRC checkout and computation, FSM, command process, memory, RNG and slot counter.It accomplishs the function with verilog, synthesis with Synopsys DV (design vision) to map the logic to the cells in the target library according to constraints, and analyses the timing and power. Then using Synopsys Astro to P&R (place and route), at last, tapes out with the GDSII. |
