With the development of the industries of aerospace, automobiles, motorcycles, gas applications, food, pharmaceutical, the air tightness and compression resistance detection for cubages, products and pipes has become increasingly important. To ensure the quality of products, the air tightness and compression resistance of the products must be done. Therefore, to develop a set of high accuracy, automatic and low-price detecting system is of great practical significance in improving production efficiency and reducing the labor loads and improving the product quality.Based on the principle of the HP-0610 detector, the research on the air tightness and compression resistance and the remote computer control were carried out.A software to match this detector was designed and developed completely.At first, according to the detector, the methods of air tightness were studied. In the air tightness testing system of this detector, the symmetrical structure was used to reduce some interference factors brought by system itself and to improve the accuracy of testing. In order to improve the precision of the data acquisition and the detecting result and reduce the times of errors, the systems used a senor with high sensitivity and low drift of temperature and a good repeatability in a acquisition model. Because the function of calculating leakage was designed into the software by considering the changes of the pressure and the temperature of the inner containers, the equation of the ideal state and the actual state of calculating air leakage were used in the theoretical derivation and the caculating formula for leakage was obtained, which has great significance in theory. Then the work principle and the system designment of the compression resistance were studyed.Finally, the software of this detector was complished according to the hardware.Because this testing system used the method of the remote computer control mathed up with the PLC, the software of the remote computer control and the PLC system control should be developed individually. The software of the remote computer control designed modally and the object-orientedly was developed by programming tool of Visual C++6.0 with surpporting of the C++ language and the OpenGL picture gallery skills. The detector used the PLC produced by OMRON, so with the trapeziod pattern language, the develop tool of the CX-PROGRAMMER6.0 offered by the company was used in the modal programming. This detecting software was completed which features were high testing precision and interactive interface and operating easily the functions of the automatically remote control, the user management, products testing, the technical parameters data logging and the automatcial recording of the testing results.
