With the advent of waterproof watch, waterproof mobile phone, waterproof lens and other products, air tightness detection technology has been widely used in various industries. Air tightness detection technology is an important procedure for production safty and the quality of products. With the development of transducer technology and computer technology, air tightness detection technology is being developed in high precision, high efficient and intellectualization in recent years.This article has elaborated a design of the air tightness detection of P-TV.First elaborated the research background, research status and research significance. Through the analysis of the traditional air tightness detection method and the features of the air tightness detection of P-TV, the extended differential pressure method is chosen as the detection principle of the design. It’s hardware part mainly includes the design of the Pneumatic circuit and the relay board interface control part, the chose of the Variable detection sensor, the Air pressure detection sensor and the silencer. The software of the design is designed by VB6.0, The software mainly realizes the automatization of the detection equipment, data acquisition, data storage, data display and so on. And to control the alarm lamp, electromagnetic valve actuator. Finally, the detection parameters of the equipment to determine.This design has been used as the production equipment used in the manufacture of our company. Through the long period of debugging and verification, the design can meet the need of the production of waterproof TV.
