The technique of channel coding recognition is widely used in Information Intercepting, Cooperation Communication, Intelligent Mobile Communication, Multicast Communication and other field of digital communication system. So, it's not only of great importance in theoretic but also of great significance in utility to do some search in this field. This thesis aims at the technique of channel coding recognition. It analyses the research status of this area, then deals with four kinds of recognition arithmetic of convolution code, including the conventional arithmetic, the arithmetic based on Viterbi decoding, the matching arithmetic based on check matrix and the arithmetic based on Key Equation. The thesis analyses their advantages and disadvantages as well. Then the thesis gives its attention to the arithmetic based on Euclidean Algorithm, analyses its performance in theory, realizes its functions with MATLAB, tests its performance such as validity, error tolerance and so on. Then the thesis compares its performance with other recognition arithmetic on the ratio of correct recognition, the performance of error tolerance and computational complexity, and gives some advice on how to improve the performance of the arithmetic based on Euclidean Algorithm, such as searching the beginning-point and codeword synchronization in a simple and effective way, and seeking for the codeword without error codes in the received sequence. In the end, the thesis researches on some usable technique of convolution code recognition, including the location of frame synchronization, the searching of codeword synchronization and the technique of information recovery. The result of this thesis can be a reference in Information Intercepting, Cooperation Communication and other field.
