Image object tracking technology has a strong practical value: it can be widely applied not only in military but also in industrial or administrative field. By the research on the high-resolution image tracking system, this paper designs and realizes a high-resolution image tracker based on multi-DSP+FPGA. It first introduces the design scheme of the high-resolution image tracking system based on multi-DSP TMS320C6416T, the traits of the system and the implementation methods of the functional modules. Especially the design of the hardware and the software based on DSP is introduced in detail. Then it introduces the design and realization of the CAN Bus that is used in the system communication. In the end, with the development of digital signal processing technology and the appearance of high performance DSP, this paper raises issues on the design of high-resolution image object recognizing and tracking system based on muti-DSP TMS320C6455. The high-resolution image tracker realized in this paper has a high responsibility, stability and precision. It performs well in practical application.
