Infrared scene simulation is an important part of infrared simulation system. Hence, it is of great significance not only in theoretical research but also in practical applications. A dynamic scene ("dynamic"means variation of infrared character distributing in this paper) will observably enhance the reality of simulation.A method of dynamic infrared simulation suitable for ground scene is proposed in this paper. The infrared radiation characteristics of typical ground targets and backgrounds, atmosphere, sky background and solar are analyzed and the infrared characteristics model, characteristics prediction model, atmosphere transmission model, sky background radiation model and solar radiation model are constructed. A round-the-clock and dual-band infrared simulation system suitable for ground scene is achieved by organizing the infrared data effectively in simulation pretreatment, which lays foundation for the all-weather and multi-band infrared scene simulation system.
