Design And Implementation Of Online Examination System Based On ASP.NET And XML

With the rapid development of computer and network technology, people are now making higher and higher demands on information, and some information activity has become an indispensable part of peoples life, such as e-learning, communication online, telecommunication and network conference. In educational field, teaching evaluation is and very important factor to teaching design. Evaluation is the foundation for revision and consummation of education, it embody the value of the teaching design. Examination must have new demand and expression form as an important evaluation means. Therefore, it is very import to establish an online examination system.The present online examination posses some advantages, but it has limits as well. This system provides a new system through XML, ASP.NET, AJAX and SQL Server 2000. In this system we can compose examination paper easily, read examination paper objectively, analyze examination paper, query scores and display the diagram. It not only improve the efficiency of test, but also realize the automatization and paperless, and increase the work efficiency.This paper analyzes on several problems existing in the present examination system, based on the relative principles of teaching evaluation and other concrete skills of the main component of this system. We establish a system that is adaptive to multi-subject based on advanced software development skills.This paper focuses on the key technologies, system framework, and total design, described in detail on how to establish the programs of examination system, such as establishment item, producing paper, scoring paper and statistic analysis by using XML, AJAX, ASP.NET.
