The Design And Implementation Of College Teaching Process Evaluation System

With the improvement of college teaching management ability, teaching evaluation and standards have been improved as well. However, domestic university teaching evaluation work started late and mainly based on teaching results, lacking of teaching process evaluation, which is not good to the development of student creative thinking and personality. In addition, manual management or semi-automatic management easily lead to wrong information and low efficiency, which directly affects the teaching evaluation work in depth. How to make true, valid, scientific evaluation has become an important issue facing all colleges and universities. On the other hand, the development of computer technology, network technology and information technology, especially the continuous development of Web 2 technology, provides the technical condition of deepening teaching evaluation work for colleges and universities. At present, most colleges and universities have established educational management information system in different scale, including teaching management, curriculum management, performance management, and other basic functions. But in the existing college teaching management system, some universities have already introduced teaching assessment function, mainly based on teaching result evaluation, which can not reflect real, comprehensive teaching quality. Teaching evaluation function especially the teaching process evaluation function was not realized, using computer information means to deepen the teaching process evaluation work is the main direct for teaching evaluation.In view of the present situation of traditional teaching evaluation in college management, the thesis tries to combine quantitative evaluation and qualitative evaluation and puts forward teaching process evaluation index, design teaching process evaluation system based on Web service technology such as struts, Ajax. Firstly, the thesis makes analysis about university teaching evaluation theory and system design technology, aiming at the actual needs of educational administration, demonstrates functional and non-functional requirements of teaching process evaluation system, using case diagram, class diagram. Then, the thesis proposes system design objectives and principles, technology architecture, function module and system database design, implementation architecture of hybrid systems using B/S technology, C/S technology. Based on the overall system design the thesis designs and implements teaching process evaluation system core function including teaching evaluation and teaching evaluation results, introducing Struts, Ajax technology. Teaching process evaluation system is helpful to change the traditional teaching appraisal way, providing references for college teaching evaluation.
