Online exam system is able to gratify all the requirements above in that it has probed and worked out a new testing mode basing on the network that can help schools and educational institutions create a new learning and testing environment, which benefits raising exam efficiency and improving the level of standardization a lot, making educational administrators, teachers and learners are able to take part in exams through the internet whenever they want.Besides, there is another advantage of online exam system that it can save the exam organizers a lot of effort to invigilate and the resources of consumables that are unnecessary, in favor of building an economized society for our country. The backstage administration of the system is entirely under the control of system administrators, which strengthens the security of website systems. With artificial intelligence developing rapidly, this problem draws more and more attention of the technical staff. In review of many previous algorithms, genetic algorithm seems to be an excellent way to solve this problem. This paper gives instructions and analyses to the problem on the combination of some technologies applied in question bank and the technology of exam paper auto-generation. The essence of the exam paper auto-generation we discuss hereby is to select exam questions according to relevant strategies, and screen out a set of questions satisfactory to given requirements from the question banks of data saved ahead of time. All the properties of those questions ought to meet the expectations of question originators within certain value ranges. The core technology of it is actually multiple-objectivity question selecting strategy. In allusion to the specialties of the system, our team build corresponding mathematical model in order to solve the problem, basing on the genetic algorithm featured by certain practicality and operational performance.For the paper auto-generation strategy in this paper, our team firstly makes systematical analyses on it, referring to the application demand of exams in practical teaching activities. Then we take teaching application as the background and realize the strategy using genetic algorithm. The final objectivity is to search out questions of different types, difficulty level and ranges in the question bank and compose appropriate and reasonable testing papers. Basing on the theories elaborated above, we combine Asp.net and SQL Server database with our strategy and apply AJAX framework technology to our research and analysis of the online exam system.
