Realization And Design Of The Monitoring System For Smart Home Based On GSM Networks

With the rapid popularization of GSM networks and the fast development of mobile communication technology, new technologies and new services have been stepped up to an all-important position. It is a very effective method to take intelligent monitoring system, the theory is very simple and has high security, and there is no need to setup special networks and to maintain them, moreover the area of GSM networks covering is very wide, so this method has many particular advantages over conventional monitoring system.This paper designs a kind of monitoring system for the smart home based on the mobile phone control. This system can meet people's urgent need such as timely understanding of the family security situation, real-time information processing, and effective control. Using the existing mobile phone networks, it can achieves multiple functions of the family requested safety control and warning, such as fireproofing, guarding against theft, and emergency rescue, etc. in the form of short messages and remote control with telephone. Simultaneously in the aspect of family electric intelligent control, it can also realize the intelligent management and regulation to the domestic electrical appliances, and farthest meet home users' humanization requirements through a variety of regulating means.The paper firstly discusses the development general situation of smart home at home and abroad, then researches and describes the SMS of GSM networks in detail, including the basic concept of SMS,technique characteristics,applied actuality and developmental foreground,the protocol and standardization of SMS, AT command set and PDU format,encoding and decoding method of SMS. and then introduces overall design and principle of monitoring module for smart home. It discusses detailedly designs of hardware and software of system, including hardware and software design of TC35I module responsible for sending warning short message and receiving control command and realizing phone call warning function. The PT2262/2272 integrated circuit can be used to accept defense, security instructions from the remote control and can accept wireless Sensor alarm signal; The MT8870 accept the voice output module from TC35I circuits to complete DTMF decoding, which can achieve the objective of long-distance telephone monitoring. We can listen to voices of the scene with phone handle for tc35i controlled by SCM to pick and hang up automatically. According to warning information can play voice messages pre-stored in the voice chip.This paper finally achieves the short message alarm, telephone and voice alarm. It can obtain effective and real-time alarm by selecting single or multi-combination alarm according to warning information.
