| With the development of CSCW and cooperative editing system, a new design and resolution for Web-based Multimedia Cooperative Editing system is advanced in this paper. This paper also deals with some key technologies in detail, such as concurrency control, access control, catalog management and version management. As the Awareness models have been proposed before they were not quite meeting the needs of CSCW system, the awareness model called event-based awareness model was improved in this paper, in which the event is crucial. The improved model works well with all kinds of CSCW systems. For helping the developer to build their own cooperative applications freely and quickly, the design method of the framework for this event-based awareness was also proposed in detail. |
