Design And Implementation Of GSM Mobile Phone With Dual SIM Card Dual Standby

At present, in the mobile communications market, GSM system is still in a dominant position. The GSM system has wide coverage and is very stable. Some time is needed before it is upgrated to 3G. Having experienced the GSM single card and CDMA single card, the manufacturers and operators increased the research strength for the dual GSM card dual standby cell phone, Since early 2007, this kind of cellphone has been in great demand.The design and implementation of the dual SIM card dual standby cell phone are discussed in this paper. The paper deals with the principle of the dual SIM card dual standby cell phone, describes in detail the architecture of the SIM card dual standby cell phone which is based on the MTK6228+ MTK6205B of MediaTek Inc. in Taiwan, and then implements a kind of cell phone which can use two GSM cards simultaneously. Also, the concept and the accomplishing method of the dual Bluetooth and the implementation. Moreover, Introduced LCD and recording MJPG, capturing photograph related to cell phone multi-media realization.Then after the testing and analysis of the system, this paper presents the main issues during the design and implement process and the solution. Finally, the achievement of this paper and it's value for reference are illustrated, and a preliminary plan and the prospect for the dual card dual standby or dual module dual standby cell phone are discussed.
