Based on the analysis of ventilation safety calculation model applied to mine, a Web Service of Mine Safety is presented in this thesis in an effort to fit the actuality and requirement of mines industries. Programming with the Visual Studio. NET, the system is designed to work on the computer network and is a visual vent safe management platform. The design of ventilation safety database adopts SQL Server2000 Technology and makes it simple to access data from different mine systems. The ventilation safety information can be shared in the scope of Internet by the use of network technology. In addition to ventilation simulation, another system software in this paper can work with mine monitoring and control systems to show the real time data by applying the files-shared manner. In the process of forming model of the system, it is brought forward that there are some problems in ventilation safety calculation systems used in the mine. Web Services are considered as necessary and inevitable trends and can be used to realize the modernization of mine industries. In a comparison with other systems, the system takes the advantage of the information resource on the web, overcomes the shortcoming of the ventilation safety calculation software used at present, and provides a new management model for mine safety .On a certain extent, it improves both the work efficiency and scientific management of mine. The system is especially designed for mine, which is quite fit for the mine enterprise. The relevant lab test and field application proved the feasibility of the system. Thus the potential can be expected for the system to have a bright foreground in mine production and safety management in the future.
