In the traditional textile CAD system, the fabric design and the fabric application are carried on separately, and the designer can see the fabric application effect in scene only after the sample is produced. If the scene simulating function is added to the textile CAD system, importing a lot of material of cloth and scenes into a computer, then the effect of simulating will be generated. Then customers can choose their favourite textile products quickly and effectively. The producers can shorten the time and reduce the cost of cloth. This project aimed at developing the perspective simulation system of scene plane with manipulation function. The image-based 3D modeling is applied in this project. The technique is important content in computer graphics and computer vision. This technique can extract information of construction, reconstruct 3D model from digital images which are captured by DC, DV and some other digital equipments.First, the perspective simulation region is outlined from the digital bitmap, and then based on the geometric constraint in the region the calculation will be started, including cameral calibration, the determination of normal vector and 3D point coordinate. The introduction of base plane and the determination of rotation matrix will prepare for the texture mapping. Finally, after getting the cloth texture, we can realize the reverse texture mapping and optimization from destination scene to source cloth. The development of the image-based 3D modeling technique, cameral calibration, texture mapping techniques and relative background are studied in the paper. The specific technical points and programming language frame are presented in Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 programming language environment. Perspective simulation result is good, so the design in this paper is feasible.
