With the globalization of the market and manufacture, the passenger car industry of our country has been confronted with strong competitions and rigorous challenges: the insufficient competence of the independence innovation and development, the low-level technology etc. It is necessary to grasp the development trend of the passenger car technology and improve the product quality to satisfy the diversified needs of the market. Only in this way, we can better participate in the market competition and bring about the sustained growth of the passenger car technology. To enhance passenger cars' performance and its riding comfortableness is most essential.The study object is NJ6746SKF traveling passenger car, which belongs to the series of travel to Venice passenger cars of NAVECO. The thesis's main research work is enumerated as follows:1. According to the related data, NJ6746SKF passenger car was divided into six major parts and each Pro/E model of which was finished separately. After assembling, we got the whole frame body skeleton model.2. The body geometry model was meliorated many times in UG so as not to lose much data when imported into ANSYS. Then the FEM model is got.3. The beams and leaf springs'FEM model were built in ANSYS. According with the boundary constraint and structure characteristic, many elements including spring element and shell element were chosen to segment the model. Finally, the whole passenger car FEM model was completed.4. A system-level modal analysis has been done successfully. Then we got the inherent frequency and the vibration mode of it and evaluated the dynamic performance and the inherent frequency which led to resonance.5. By Researching the displacement response of the whole skeleton which caused by the harmonic load of the engine on the base of the dynamic Analysis, the vibration of different region has been studied exactly.After having completed model analysis and dynamic analysis, we knew the dynamic performance clearly. The research is of high value in theory and practicality. It will help to enhance passenger cars'dynamic performance a lot.
