To meet the high flexibility of the system equipment,a new portable cabinet is developed. First,the suitable requirements of the design is andanalyzed,then, the analysis,simulation and design of the cabinet are completed from the aspects of structure,stiffness,strength, buffer fro the vibration isolation,etc..At the end, the common 3D model of the portable cabinet is established which ensured the transmission, share, inheriting and changing of the design information.In this paper, the FEM model of the portable cabinet is also established. Some of the vibration modes and natural frequencies are obtained through modal analysis. According to the related standards, transient dynamic analysis and random vibration spectrum analysis are carried out. Its dynamic response characteristics in vibration and shock environment are studied to find out the main weak parts in the structure of the portable cabinet, which provide more convincing evidence for optimization design in the cabinet structure.
