In order to solve various falling damage problem in use of laptop, combine finiteelement simulation with test, through the actual test results and simulation results forcomparison, confirmed the correctness of the simulation analysis. Due to the limitation ofthe test equipment, the first5fixed-points pressure tests to the laptop, throughthe deformation obtained by the test results contrast with the simulation in the samecondition, confirm the correctness of the model. Then make the system analysis andresearch of the falling process, the reference standard and the enterprise standard of droptest4drop method, the test results with the same initial conditions of the simulation,comparison the results, through simulation and analysis, providing theoretical basis for thedesign and solution of laptop, at the same time through improving materialperformance, drop test result is improved. Sum up the main topics from the following3aspects.Firstly introduced the theory of modal analysis, and based on UG laptop model wasestablished, without prejudice to the simulation results of the case of the model wassimplified for the convenience of calculation. Finished the model, import to ANSYSstarted the whole laptop calculation. First of all, on the whole of the laptop no any initialconstrained modal analysis, so as to get the first13in-order vibration frequency andresponse. The result of modal calculates is preparing for the transient dynamic test.Secondly introduce the stress testing method according to the enterprisestandard, select5representative points according to daily use and make press test, to getthe maximum deformation of each point in the testing process. Through the study of thestatic analysis principle, LCD part carried on the static analysis, obtained the LCD shellstress and strain, the strain values are compared with test results, the deviation is less than6%, verified the correctness of the model, at the same time it shows that finiteelement method has good guidance for structure optimization. Finally, study transient dynamics system analysis and research, according to thenational standard and the use of consumer habits, chose4drop modes, except the cornerdrop method, another three drop test modes, the laptop without any damage, corner droptest have deformation unrecoverable. To the whole laptop go on drop impact simulation,and the stress response are compared with experiment results, the simulation model wasverified, through the improvement of the material effectively reduces the impactstress response. The simulation has important engineering application value for reliabilitytest and development of new products, provides scientific basis for laptop structureoptimization design.
