For a long time, student information management has been adopting manual method, the result of which is intensive-labor; low efficiency; easy to go wrong; inconvenient to inquire, to classify, to summarize and to analyze data scientifically. there is an urgent need for a set of Web-based student information management system as to how to solve these problems.In this paper on the basis of a comprehensive, analysis of the present situation of college students management and obtained software, the student information management system based on web has been designed and implemented. The specific work is as follows:First, analysis of the status quo of the college students management. The research purpose and the developmental significance of student management system having been proved.The development and use of the system will help promote information technology digital construction on our campus helps our hospital management to renovate their concept, improve ways of working and enhance the level of management, also can assist us in collecting information, storage, processing, transmitting, using and maintaining.Second: analysis and research of web technology, ASP technology and ADO database visit componentsThird: analysis of the institute system requirements functional construction of students information management is given and total design of system is completed.The Student Information Management System should have most basic management items such as input, inquiry, dorm management, rewards and punishment, Therefore surronding these points, the system should focus on divisions of the following modules, which are super management , basis file management, apartment management, scholarship, morning exercises attendance management, discipline, honor file management, data charts, and so on.Fourth, the design of Student Information Management System.In this paper, the student information management system is predominantly designed to achieve the following several functions:Basic file management: Mainly includes the student essential data input, the student information search, the student association cadre to manage, the class and grade cadre to manage, the class and grade roll printed, all kinds of files form printed. The manager can easily input; revise and search students'related information through the basic records management module's each function.
