The system can management the equipment room completely, and get the equipment room environment and working conditions in real time and accurately. The system integrated monitor system and security management system. The equipment room could become an automated and no-duty room, ant it provide effective safety management to ensure that the equipment in the corresponding normal operation conditions and maximize the prevention of accidents and human damage that may occur, and so on.In this paper, the history of development of centralized monitoring systems has been analyzed, and the related technologies have been presented also. And then, LonWorks technology based centralized monitoring system is presented, and the centralized monitoring system components and systems features, details of the design and realization methods including hardware design and software implementation are described.
