Research On RIA Technologies In Developing Web-Based Application System

With the fast development of network technology, the Internet has become the well-known platform for application research. The HTML-based browser client end is considered the most common one. It is a kind of thin client and has many limitations, thus the way of presenting data is very simple and not very popular with the clients. In order to make it more abundant, RIA (Rich Internet Application), which is based on Internet application, came into being. It is a technology that has a quick feedback and high alteration like the desktop application. It also has a wide scope to spread fast like the network application. Adobe Flex is a comprehensive solution of RIA technology, which combines the efficient developing model and the criteria out of practice. Flex is to design and layout the user interface by MXML and to design the logic control of client end background by ActionScript. RIA is often suitable for developing data-based complex application with a large amount of user interfaces. With the RIA, the users can experience more, so the present research is of great significance.On the basis of the existing Flex frameworks, this paper proposes RIASmart, a framework of Flex MVC. This kind of framework is lighter, with fewer layers, but higher elasticity. It is to be maintained and especially suitable for middle and small Flex applications.This paper mainly discusses the following problems:①It is to introduce the background information of RIA, and analyze its advantages and influences.②It is to summarize various solutions to RIA technology, and discuss their advantages and disadvantages.③It specifically deals with a most well-known solution to RIA technology--- Flex.Focus on the technology that Flex Data Services communicates with server.④It shows the relation between Flex technology and MVC design model. And it introduces RIASmart, a Flex MVC framework that can be applied to web application.This framework contains three parts: model, view, controller. It integrates several new features of Flex framework to accelerate the development of program.⑤It illustrates how the RIASmart framework is used when designing the Flex-based jifenhuanbao website.In this paper, the reseach has been well applied to enhance the efficiency of the web application. So the clients can experience fully and its effect is as expected.
