In recent years, the market of online game grows rapidly,the profession profit margin is very high, attracted the massive capitals to enter.However,in traditional online game market, the preliminary funding invested is high, the operation is complex, the superiority of the pioneers is big, the risk controls with difficulty. In the other side,web game ,as one kind of the online games, does not need to download the client side, requests lowly to the hardware for the consumers and lowly development invests for the company,and so on characteristics it receives professional's favor.Firstly, this paper elaborates the reason of choosing Red5 and Flex to develope web game, introduces the both's concept and the principle,and gives some methods to solve the problem of developing web game using Red5 and Flex.Secondly, this paper uses methods such as UML to carry on the demand analysis and modeling needs, and gives the design and implementation separately for the server-side and the client-side.The server-side use the J2EE classical construction, with popular frameworks such like Spring and Hibernate and so on, the client-side uses the PureMVC framework,the correspondence uses the API which the Red5 server provides. This paper has completed the web game's basic function initially.Finally, this paper tests the system use JUnit and FlexUnit,then coming to a conclusion. And look ahead follow-up work in the future.
