This dissertation presents the researching achievements focused on the technical solutions and implementations for the remote monitoring and nursing systems in pre-hospital first aid.On the basis of introducing the architecture of remote monitoring and nursing systems in pre-hospital first aid, the hardware and software platforms in mobile terminal for gathering and transmitting physical signs of patients are proposed. Both the hardware based on the chip S3C44B0X and its working mode and the software based on the real time system (RTS)μC/OS-II and its operating procedure are elaborated. The performance about operation of software system embedded in the designed hardware platform is also analyzed in this dissertation. The CDMA2000-1x is chosen to be the bearing network according to the requirement of channel bandwidth and data speed. The TCP/IP is chosen to be the transmission protocol in order to transmit the remote monitoring and nursing data under the reliable and real-time situation. Then, the technical solutions and implementations of the hardware and software systems in mobile monitoring and nursing terminals are designed in detail. The key technical difficulties are seriously researched, and some relative optimizing techniques are also put forward. With the clear target, the operating mechanisms of the PPP-based embedded TCP/IP protocol stack are formulated in this dissertation. By the analysis in the source codes of Lightweight IP (LwIP) protocol stack software, a series of technical methods for transplanting the LwIP protocol stack software to the mobile monitoring and nursing terminals, achieving the programs to drive the networking equipments, operating the radio communication modules under the specification of CDMA2000-1x, the design of the main task of PPP, are set forth. The technical solutions and implementations are proved to be feasible by the experimental tests. Because the traditional TCP protocol can't be well adaptive to radio interface in the CDMA2000-1x mobile networks, the relative technical solutions for advancing the TCP protocol are analyzed and evaluated. Then, the TCP Veno algorithm is adopted to optimize the performances of TCP protocol under the radio environment. Based on the problems of the network functional requierments of terminal and system platform resource constraints, the protocol stack is optimized to improve the adaptability of software, some shortcomings of the protocol stack is corrected in the embedded operating system environment. The testing results from the actual application systems installing the designed terminals show that the remote monitoring and nursing systems can carry out implementation requirements. The physical sign parameters of patients can exactly be transmitted in real-time within the remote monitoring and nursing systems in pre-hospital first aid.
