Ir interface protocol automation test system is a software platform developed byLTE base station equipment manufacturer for testing LTE Ir interface protocol. Thedevelopment forms of Ir interface protocol provide the testing personnel manychoices in programming language, for example, C++, C#, JAVA. The platformdeveloped by C++operates fast, although compared to JAVA language it is moredifficult in developing, but it has better performance in stability and reliability.The system this thesis described realizes the research in Ir interface protocolautomation test system which is in VS2005development environment, based onWindows development platform and using C++language. It can realize theautomation development in various testing project fast with high operating efficiency.It fulfils the basic requests of testing personnel in testing the BBU and RRU Irinterface protocol mutual operation. The system not only has different choices incommunication mode, but also can store different types of data statements and reports.The paper introduces the ways to realize what are aforementioned in detail.Chapter one of this thesis briefly introduces the background of Ir interfaceprotocol automation test system research, the significance and necessity of realizing it.And it summarizes the content and constructive frame of the research; Chapter twointroduces the specific content of Ir interface protocol including the definition, thephysical properties, and the realization of application layer function which is the chieffunction of the system; Chapter three introduces the technology foundation anddevelopment process of automation test, and conduct the Ir interface protocolautomation test system demand analysis; Chapter four is the key point of this paper,Elaborating the design of the test system hardware and software developmentenvironment, the modular layout of the software framework, the detailedimplementation of the various modules and related technical details; Chapter five isthe exhibition on the achievements of the system, introduction of debugging methodsand analysis of test result; Chaper6of the text are summarized.
