Study On Digital Municipal Management System Architecture With BPM And SOA Technology

With the development of economy, cities are changing quickly. Former city manage mode can't catch up modern cities'development. Lag of city management has become a common problem for every city, every country. How to enhance city management? How to improve public service? How to cope with emergency? These things are of vital importance to city development. It has become a new trend to construct'digital city'and realize information management of modern city.As an economic center of the upper reaches of Yangtze River and a municipal city directly under Chinese central government. Chongqing has made a great progress after 1997, the city has changed a lot while the lag of management appears at the same time. This paper aims directly at the particularity of the municipal management of Chongqing. It also considers that the municipal management has constant changes and the characteristics of flow. Thus, in this paper, it is illustrated the idea of digital municipal management system architecture with BPM and SOA technology which is fit for Chongqing.For the first, this paper introduces research status and developing trend of digital municipal management, BPM and SOA. Then, related concept and work flow are carefully analyzed. How to transfer complex requirement of digital municipal management into corresponding work flow is studied. How to get logic description from work flow is then analyzed. After consideration on complex requirement of existed city and its future development, BPM and SOA are adopted to construct digital municipal management.After carefully research on concept,principle and technical details of BPM, SOA and Web Services, especially after comparison of their relationship. A BPM-SOA portfolio structure is proposed, then the system construction of digital municipal management system based on BPM and SOA is constructed. At last, case report flow-a key flow of digital municipal management system is simulated and analyzed by AquaLogic BPM Suite 6.0, which verifies the feasibility of the system construction.
