With the rapid development of the computer, communication and Internet technology, the human-computer interaction interface of the new generation information products gets more and more people's attention. But all along, the research of UI for information products, especially software, has been carried out around the visual channel and almost no one can pay attention to the problems of sound and hearing channel. As a result, for one thing, the information of the visual channel was overload. And for another, it blocked the UI to the development of more natural and efficient multi-channel interface. And many characteristics of the sound better than visual signals have not been effective used. Therefore, this article from the sound design problems based on software interactive interface, through the analysis of the software interface, related properties of sound and voice elements in software UI, in the process of software interaction design, to achieve the aim of improving the efficiency, ease of use and customer satisfaction by sound elements, carried out the dissertation on four stages including prophase, metaphase, anaphase and usability test. Thereby, we can get a set of more comprehensive methods of sound design in software UI. And finally proved its feasibility through the sound design case of an IM software. Through the study of this issue, we can not only get a complete set of methods for related fields, but also open up a new kind of research idea. And it has great practical significance for multi-channel interface technology.The main frame of this article can be divided into four parts:The first part is chapter one. Focus on the introduction of the sound design issues in software UI and clarify the status, research background, methods, significance and main innovation point of this article.The second part includes chapter two, chapter three and chapter four. Focus on the analysis of the software UI definition, characteristics, development, interaction and general methods, and analyzed the related physical, the human-computer, the cognitive and aesthetic properties of voice, and clarified the role and classification, characteristics and environment, general design methods of sound elements in software UI and paved the way for the solution in latter part.The third part includes chapter five and chapter six. Focus on the dissertation on four stages including prophase, metaphase, anaphase and usability test, and got a set of more comprehensive methods of sound design in software UI. Thereby, the problem is resolved.The last part includes chapter seven and chapter eight. Finally proved its feasibility though the sound design case of an IM software. And further summarized and concluded the whole subject.
