The Filter Of DOCSIS For Upstream Technology

Firstly, this paper introduces the basic methods of Broadband Access in the first place, then reviews and compares the HFC transmission theory base on the DOCSIS and DVB-C of the previous series. Then, this paper designs the chip of uplink transmission concerning the DOCSIS3.0 protocol and also gives a description of the functions of the relevant modules on the basis of DVB/DCOSIS hybrid transmission system referring to BCM3037.After that, this thesis focuses on the algorithm of the pre-equalization, shaping and the CIC interpolation filter, whereafter give a detailed comparison of the characteristics and design complexity about all the filter circuit , the dissertation carefully analyze the algorithm of the reformative sharpening CIC filter and a new Nyquist filter, and presents the individuals views and innovation finally. At last, the thesis lists the detailed design flow of circuit and works out practical hardware circuit.
