With the advent of big data and the continued progress of China's "triple play" strategy,single broadcast television business cannot meet the people's needs for the radio and television operators.In this context,C-DOCSIS technology which is based on HFC networks can provide high-speed data access and offer HD TV at the same time have received wide attention from radio and television operators.Firstly,this paper analyzes the DOCSIS Protocol,mainly of the key features and processes of physical layer and MAC layer.Then,the feasibility of C-DOCSIS system in China's HFC network has been discussed.C-DOCSIS is developed based on DOCSIS and have developed combined with the actual situation in China.We introduced the background of C-DOCSIS.Besides,the features of the C-DOCSIS system and the application of environmental have been analyzed.In addition,this paper particularly introduces the realization of C-DOCSIS system head-end CMC equipment,Includes CMC hardware general design,detailed design and key technologies.For detailed design,the realization method of function modules includes PON interface module,RF module,data interface module,distribution amplifier module were mainly studied.Finally we realized CMC equipment and built an experiment platform.Major RF parameters,modulation error ratio(MER)and throughput of the equipment have been tested.The obtained results of the tests turn out that the design which has been used well in HFC network has a high degree of reliability and stability. |
