With the drastically competing of globalization market, the automobile industry develops towards multi-varieties, short-cycle, individuality and flexibility. For monitoring production condition, processing event that happened suddenly, reducing the production cost and Manufacturing cycle, the Manufacturing enterprise's managers try their best seeking methods to solve these problems.The Manufacturing execution system which is between planning layer and workshop controlling layer can enhance the enterprise's agility and management level, and is the important method of enhancing the enterprise competition. With the support of computer technology and the network communication, the agile Manufacturing execution system can improve the informationization level of manufacturing industry. And not only the Manufacturing execution system realizes the interactive communication of the workshop, and make the directions according to the real-time event, but also it promptly gains and processes the extraneous information, makes the correct decision for the workshop .After this paper analyzes the craft characteristic of automobile cover's punching process, it compares the nature of MES of process industries and discrete industries, and analyzes the theory, the essential technology and the modeling methods about agile MES in enterprise, elaborates the module divisions and the information flows, finally it introduces the MES that based agile management for a sheet processing enterprise. This system contains metal management module, the production plan module, the Manufacturing execution module and products stock management module. And it solves the informationization problem of equipment, workers'information in the workshop and storehouse management. Through executing of the system, it is founded that the system had basically achieved the anticipated target, and had optimized the controlling of the workshop. And the project has made the effective exploration for the agile management of workshop and the development direction of the informationization of manufacturing industry.
