| Wireless Sensor network(WSN),which is made by the convergence of sensor, nested computation, networks and wireless communication technologies, is a novel technology about acquiring and processing information. It is a late-model wirelessnetworks of infrastructureless network and can be used for testing, sensing, collecting and processing information of monitored objects. WSN is a new technology and has a wide application future. Both academia and industries are very interested in it.The numbers of sensor node in WSN are numerous and single node is extraordinarily limited in resource. The all-important aim of designing medium access control (MAC) protocol in data link layer of WSN is to reduce the overall energy dissipated in the network and to maximize the network lifetime. The author analyzed and compared some MAC protocols that proposed by oversea researcher and assimilated excellence idea among them and designed a new algorithm for Flow-Adapting based on SMAC protocol in wireless sensor network.FAM is based on the frame model of SMAC protocol, and the expansibility, Energy-efficient and delay performance of it should be improved. The performance of SMAC are improved from three aspects by using FAM: First, the expansibility performance can be improved by using the mechanism of adapting to expansibility. Secondly, to keeping nodes asleep as much as possible and saving the energy the new synchronization mechanism is used. Finally, FAM introduces a mechanism for Triggered Packets to ensure the throughput of the network. It improves the expansibility performance and reduces consuming of the energy and increases the living circles of the network by three mechanicsms introduced. The simulation results on NS-2 show that the proposed algorithm is an effective improvement algorithm based on SMAC protocol. At last, conclusion and image future about designing materializing MAC in WSN are given. |
