With the development of the wireless sensor network technology and its wide application in different fields, the social from all walks of life to the development of wireless sensor network also full of expectation, the research of wireless sensor network in related areas has become a research hot spot. But with the limit of wireless sensor network itself and the particularity of the application, its technical performance temporarily can’t fully meet the requirements of people, the effective use of limited energy is an important research aspect. In actual wireless sensor network, the network nodes generally carry the battery by itself to provide energy, the energy is limited and replenish its energy is very difficult, and wireless sensor network node maybe single used, energy once depleted, network node life is ending. Based on this phenomenon, in this paper, the wireless sensor network energy efficient routing algorithm is studied and improvement, this paper proposes a new energy efficient routing algorithm and protocol.First of all, a new energy efficient routing algorithm is proposed in this paper named Energy efficient routing algorithm based on part of the network energy level (PEC-MBCR), PEC-MBCR algorithm not only reduce the network energy consumption and balance the energy consumption, extend the survival time of the each node, then reduce the waste caused by Deploying Network Services again; Secondly, this paper on the basis of PEC-MBCR routing algorithm, implements the PEC-AODV routing protocol, PEC-AODV routing protocol not only reduced overall energy consumption but also give attention to the survival of the whole network; Finally, PEC-AODV protocol module is added to the NS-2simulation platform, and about PEC-AODV we also did some simulation and performance evaluation on the NS-2simulation platform, it is concluded that the PEC-AODV routing protocol can use energy more effectively than the original AODV routing protocol.
