Automated warehouse uses the high-rise rack to store the goods, uses the narrow-aisle stacker crane and other equipments such as loading crane or conveyer to carry the goods into or out of the warehouse. The warehouse is controlled by the computer so that it doesn't need labor to do it. Automatic storage and retrieval system is an important part of the modern logistic system. With the development of the modern industry, the automated warehouse must receive the real-time task and perform the task, at the same time, it should feed back the information whether the task has finished. So the management system, the monitor system and the control system must work coordinately and efficiently.In this thesis,management system and supervisory control system are discussed basing on application and development requirement of modern logistics technique. In the management system, the thesis discusses the general architecture and the modules of the system, Then it sets up the database system, researches the strategy of placing the goods and the strategy of sequencing the task. In the management system, the programming realizes those optimized strategies and uses the genetic algorithm to optimize the path of the sorting work. The supervisory control system is programmed by the configuration software. It can communicate with the management computer and the actuating equipments easily. The thesis discusses the method to program supervisory control system with configuration software, the composition of the supervisory control system and the realization of function modules. The thesis also discusses the realization of data acquisition and device control. Then it introduces the method of communication between supervisory control system and control devices. Through the database and the configuration software's drivers of the I/O devices, it is possible to realize the integration of the management and control. Based on that, the efficiency can be raised, the real-time data can be stored and the demand of the modern logistics system can be met.
