Automated storage and retrieval system is a system which can carry the goods into or out of the warehouse without workers. With the continued expansion of a modern enterprise, automated storage and retrieval system has become an important component. The management system and monitor system of automated warehouse can improve the automated warehouse operation and automatic level. It demands that the management system, the monitor system and the control system must work coordinately and efficiently.This research based on the research of the development of monitor and management system of automated warehouse, which comes from the requirement of Nanjing inform company. Genetic Algorithm is regarded as the theory background and the stacker system of inform company is regarded as the hardware background. Management and monitor system of automated warehouse is set up.Firstly, the classification and the excellence of automated warehouse are introduced. Base on the automated warehouse system in the domestic and international situation and development trend, the background and significance of the study are discussed. And then, the content of the study and the development platform are introduced.Secondly, the theory of task scheduling and its model are introduced. The question of task scheduling is analyzed. The model to make the total time minimal and its solution is proposed. This method is proved useful by an example. And how to use genetic algorithm in multi-laneway warehouse is discussed.Thirdly, the requirement of the management system is analyzed. The characteristic and application of barcode technical is introduced. The strategy of placing the goods and the strategy of sequencing the task are studied. The process of communication between management level and monitor level is discussed. The process is carried out by OPC technical which based on COM technical.Fourthly, the characteristic of configuration software including WinCC is introduced. The requirement of monitor system is analyzed. The object of monitor and the hardware component are recommended. And the communication between control level and monitor level is discussed.Fifthly, according to the actual requirement of inform company, the management system and monitor system of automated warehouse is designed, based on the platform of .NET and WinCC6.0.Finally, all research of this study is summarized, and some of the work which needs further in-depth study is proposed.
