Software measurement standard for surface texture is a new conception of the next generation GPS, and its purpose is to achieve surface evaluation integrality for standard system from machining, measuring and evaluation. As standard artifact and gauge are generally used to evaluate the precision characteristic of measurement instruments, it also is necessary to evaluate the algorithm correctness for measurement instrument evaluation software by using relevant reference data and reference software. Therefore software measurement standard has been proposed by ISO in the context of surface texture measurement, and specify reference software and reference data for surface texture measurement and evaluation. In order to carry out software measurement standard which has already been agreed with, it is urgent to build a relevant software evaluation and testing development and develop software application system of software measurement standard for surface texture measurement instruments in our country.In the paper, the basic theory and key techniques of software measurement standards are investigated. An effective scheme to build reference software for 2D surface texture measurement is proposed. The advantage of the scheme lies in its effective combination of high numerical calculating capability of MATLAB with perfect interface programming capability of VC. Meanwhile a mechanism of reference data is analyzed commonly, and reference data examples by the three methods of mathematic, simulation and measuring standard artifact are given. Based on above research, a 2D surface texture measurement standard application system and reference data help documents are developed. Finally, according to international standards of ISO surface profile filter, Gaussian filter in developed reference software are tested; surface profile parameters in developed reference software are tested by reference data of NPL, and the satisfied results are obtained. |
