Pdm Electronic Reference Room Key Technologies

The Data Vault is a basic subsystem of PDM (Product Data Management). Data Vault stores,manages all heterogeneous datum correctly and safely,it works as an important data source for other subsystems of PDM. The efficiency of Data Vault directly affects that of the PDM.After analyzing and comparing the abroad and domestic research,this paper gives a method,which combines file system in operation system with relative database system to manage heterogeneous datum. The paper pays attention to several key technologies,such as:(1)Storage and management technology of heterogeneous datum(2)Technology of wrapping heterogeneous datum from relative format to object-oriented format.(3)J2EE based,web matrix,multi-tier,distributed architecture of PDM system. (4)The security and authentication management system of PDM.Based on the latest computer technology,such as open distributed architecture,software process,software modeling,object-oriented,component,network computing and so on,this paper develops a J2EE based,web matrix,multi-tier,distributed technology prototype.
