Research And Design Of Production Mangagement Based On MVC Model

Production Management (PM) has been developing from bud to maturity. During this years, PM changed the ideology and method of enterprise management greatly, and brings a new method of PM that oriented by information. In the new century, with the fast development of global economy and modern science and technology especially in the information technology area, PM has been adopted widely among enterprises in developed country, and become an effective tool to improve international competition and maximize value in many multinational corporations. As the background of the cooperative project between HUST and GS Magic Inc., this paper starts with the PM theory, then research deeply in PM.At first, this paper reviews the development history of PM. Then, the research and application status quo of PM in domestic and overseas has been introduced. After that, beginning with the definition of production management, the core of PM has been analyzed. What's more, to explain the advantage of PM, the difference between modern and traditional production management has been discussed. Besides that, this paper tells four different types in the development of PM. And then, linked up the fact application, this paper brings a production management based on Enterprise Resources Planning.In the fact application, this paper adopts the Model-View-Controller design pattern, to design a PM system. This system uses Browser/Server (B/S) structure, and J2EE platform to implement. View, Controller, Model and Persistence layer are included in the system. It successfully applied MVC to J2EE. After running in GS Magic Inc. for several months, the result was satisfied and the estimate was good.At the end of this paper, the summing-up to this paper and the prospect to the future of PM are given.
