With the expansion of Chinese logistics market and the rapid development of the technology of embedded system, wireless communication and automatic identification, traditional logistics equipment have been also in continuous process of updating and developing towards a new direction in recent years. Although the traditional logistics information technology was competent for information collecting and processing, it did not support the real-time transmission of logistics information. Therefore, the logistics enterprises couldn't get the accurate information of the goods in the logistics chain in timely, and the efficiency of the whole logistics system was greatly reduced. The object of the project is to discuss the problem above, and then put forward the improved solutions and design such logistics equipment with a combination of information collecting, processing and real-time transmission.This thesis is based on the subject of"The Research and Development of Wireless Logistics Intelligent Terminal (WLIT)". In order to collect the logistics information, this thesis presents a solution of logistics information collection, based on the SE923 bar code scan engine; In order to implement the real-time transmission of logistics information, the thesis designed a GPRS wireless access program based on the MC35i module; In terms of the limited capacity lithium battery in WLIT handset device, the thesis analyses the general design solutions of the power system in the current handset device, including their virtues and disadvantages. Based on them, the thesis presents an optimization solution.The dissertation summarizes the main achievement according to performance and the structure of the system. At the same time, it also puts forward the further expectation and imagination in the future. This thesis provides a reference for other applications, which based on embedded systems, wireless communication and automatic identification technology. Meanwhile, the power supply solution of the WLIT has certain utilities in other aspects; this thesis also provides a reference for other power system design of handset device.
