This thesis based on the Component Video Conferencing System and the project is from Lixing Power Company.The Component Video Conferencing System is the application of component technology in Video Conferencing System. This thesis fully analyzed the current developing situation of Video Conferencing System and component technology at home and overseas. The thesis indicates the shortcomings of current Video Conferencing System through analyzing the NetMeeting-the typical sample of Component Video Conferencing System. And it also puts forward relative solution and design object. Under the object, the thesis investigates the component theory and the main COM criterion and analyzes realization theory and key point of the COM criterion. And it also concludes international standards of the Audio, Video Coding criterion and indicates the best choice of this system. Through researching the key point of Video Conference System, Capture and Compress of Audio and Video, design and realization modules of C/S Component Video Conferencing System which including the following aspects: Audio Module, realize capture and transfer of the audio , analyze and solve the audio mixing; pay much attention on research the synchronization of audio and video, put forward time-stamp based solution; Video Module, realize the capture and transfer of the video, put forward a series of function systems, perfect the system function and improve the stability of the conference system. For example, the Resolution adjusting function in order to satisfy different picture definition requirement of different conferences; Compressor self-choosing functions to run in different environment, Video Choose, it is used to solve the problems raised by instability of Internet Recourses; Network Module, it puts forward the solution by researching socket and multi-thread technology.On above basis, the thesis introduces the target and capability realization of relative modules and key points of component Video Conferencing System. And through a series of testing, the target and capability can satisfy the requirements of enterprises achieve design object.
