In industrial production and other fields, since the needs of their work, people often are high-temperature, corrosive and toxic gases such factors as the harm, an increase of workers in labor intensity, and even life crisis. Robots can finish some or even all of labor replace human, Manipulator is the traditional implementing agencies, it is one of the key components of the robot. After research electronic manufacturers, I found that a large number of existing productions of electrodes, and its diameter less than 10 mm, weighs less than 50 g, is a highly sophisticated electronic component. These electrodes are put into a box every 40 on the production line, In the latter, the electrodes have to be transferred to facilitate the logistics box. In the process because manual workers result a lot of bad products, leading to high production costs. To solve this issue, I developed the manipulator to switching electrode, it can effectively reduce non-performing rate and increase labor productivity. It can finish positioning, transmission, and capture and relax the precise movements. The mechanical body includes the three parts: transfer belt \ the fixture and the fixture mobile part. One transmission gear is used in some slowdown in motor drag-band transmission products, fixture is the Japanese SMC high-precision gas claws, the mobile part use a servo motor and precision ball screw driver. using a magnetic reed switch to find location. In this paper, the manipulator is controlled by PLC , the cyclical movements process, from the original point , the conveyor belt on the production-line, and arrive at the scheduled stop location, Fixture Open, fixture fell, while positioning the cylinder dropped, the cylinder that be used position moves faster, when the fixture down to the location of electrodes, positioning-cylinder has been fixed at the production mode, and Fixture clamp electrode, rise, after reach the scheduled location, positioning-cylinder back, the fixture will move to the another conveyor belt . reaching a position to stop, fixture come down, positioning-cylinder out clamp-on box, open the fixture, Fixture rise at the location, positioning-cylinder back, close the fixture, the fixture come back the original point, In order to control manipulator'movements process, used relay to control the horizontal, vertical axis servo motor , and convey belt. Used electromagnetic valve to control the clamping claws / release, and positioning-clamping cylinder / release. Control part used Siemens S7-200PLC, optional 226 CPU. Using Ladder programming plans and functional programming plans because they are simple and intuitive. The device covers the mechanical design, programmable control technology, pneumatic technology, detection technology, the electrical drag technology. The manipulator to switch electrode can achieve a secure and reliable electronic products industry electrode automatically, it is high precision and automation.
