With increasingly popularizing of Internet net application and rapidly developing of communications technology, Internet has gone deep into every aspect of people's life and made a great affect on the developments of modern society. The embedded Internet technology enables electronic instruments existed in many fields to access Internet, which makes remote detection, remote control, remote maintenance and remote data acquisition easy.GPRS is a new bear service,which is developed from GSM network. GPRS networks support TCP/IP protocol and provide packet-switched services based on internet protocol (IP) and could directly communicate with Internet. Its ability of mobile accessing to Internet provides a new choice for data transmission. It is better way of data collection by GPRS, due to more advanced and cheap.Based on analyzing the system's function demand, this thesis provides the design of data acquisition and transmission based on GPRS, which used C8051F064 as the core controller and Small RTOS51 as software platform.First, the thesis expatiates on the Real-Time Operating System Small RTOS51's characteristic, mechanism of task switch and transplantion on the C8051F064, describes the TCP/IP protocol design and realization of the terminal in detail, including PPP, IP, ICMP, TCP and UDP. Then the thesis provides the realization method of data acquisition task, LED display task and keyboard operation task,And introduces the design and realization of data center software.Finally the thesis gives the testing of the system and analysis of the communication data.The configuration of terminal software could be simply described as: RTOS+TCP/IP protocol+application.The application was divised into multitask form on the basis of Small RTOS51, which could simplify the software design and improve the reliability.The terminal is small in siza, low price and high reliability characteristics, offers transparent and high efficiency data transmission channel, and could be widely used in industry control fields, especially in motion circumstance and remote area. Moreover the terminal has richly interface circuit and could be developed farther.
