Communication And Coordination Of Multi-Agent System Of Supply Chain Management System

Recently, the international academia and enterprises pay more attention on the supply chain management (SCM), which is one management idea and method to improve the competitiveness of enterprises. Agent has the characters that are Autonomy, Proclivity, Communication and Reactivity. Moreover, Agent is more suitable for developing a management SCM system than the traditional software. The technology of agent has been applied widely in the field of SCM. This paper focuses on the communication and coordination of multi agent System (MAS) as follow:Firstly, we analyze the contribution of the SCM on economic development as well as the status of the research and application in our country. Then, we point the related theory of Agent and MAS. At last, we propose the problem in current research.We propose a universal entity MAS model based on the further analysis of the SCM process and its definition structure. And then, we suggest a MAS model, which is in accordance with the duty. We also focus on the communication and coordination of these models.After comparing the two popular MAS, we propose an improved Agent communication language named XACL, which is based on the FIPA, ACL and XML. Then, we give the detail coordination calculation method and message seal process complied with the 3rd charter.The practice proved that this MAS model can meet the communication requirement between different Agents. Moreover, this MAS model also decrease the consumption of the system resource and communication cost. At the same time, the difference platforms and enterprises can be assembled by the MAS model.
