Application Of Multi-agent In The Agile Supply Chain Management System

With the fast growth of technology and economy, mordern enterprise develops towards an agile-rization,integrated-rization and parallel-rization direction. Agile Supply Chain management is becoming an effetive means in improving global competition of enterprise. Relavent agile supply chain concept and agile supply chain management theory also develop repidly. Agility mainly reflects in the un-predictability of the supply chain, as well as its fast response to the changing supply environment.Agent-based computing is growing to a focus in the field of Artificial Intelligence, and general computer science. Independent Agent and Multi-agent System provide a new way of analyzing, designing, and implementing complex systems. Multi-agent has such characteristics as parellel , adaptability, etc. Multi-Agent System is composed of Independent Agent. By using the Multi-agent System theory, could archieve effective coordination among allied enterprise, stregthen cooperation and information transaction of each function unit in Agile Supply Chain. Therefore more and more Multi-agent System apply in Agile Supply Chain management.This paper applys Multi-agent theory and technology into Agile Supply Chain management system, the study emphasizes on the coordination system of Multi-agent Supply Chain management system and its planning and design. Firstly, introduced supply chain, supply chain management, Agile Supply Chain, Agile Supply Chain management system, and Agent, Multi-agent theory, its technology characteristic, Multi-agent communication and cooperation. Based on above, introduced the leading force of applying Agent in Agile Supply Chain system. Secondly, emphasize on the coordination system of Multi-agent in Agile Supply Chain. Finally, study one small enterprise, materialize the Agent of an Agile Supply Chain management system.
