With the development of technology and the intense competition between enterprises home and abroad, there has emerged a dire need of high-quality bearings, thus causing the enterprises to concentrate on the R & D of bearing simulation devices.Globally speaking, to improve the bearing quality, most enterprises have separately established bearing simulation standards by means of which more accurate parameters can be achieved; whereas in China, the bearing simulation is still lingering at the level of the simulation of the statics of bearing. However, Dalian Maritime University and China (Dalian) Wafangdian Bearing Group Foundry Co., Ltd. have co-developed the simulation of the dynamics of bearing based on PC, thus moving forward to a new stage for bearing stimulation in China.The simulation of the dynamics of bearing based on PC has some defects, say, long real-time, high cost, large bulk, which hamper its sales. To improve this, the thesis focuses on the simulation of the dynamics of bearing based on ARM and DSP under given loading and speed.This simulation device consists of three parts: MCU, DSP and ARM module. The hardware design includes firstly in MCU module, signal acquisitions of such parameters as temperature, revolving speed, and loading, A/D conversion and D/A output circuits; secondly in DSP module, signal conditioning and A/D conversion circuit; and thirdly in ARM module, peripheral circuit.The software design includes firstly in MCU module, signal acquisition and controlling designs under the operating system of uC/OS-II; secondly in ARM module construction of Bootloader and windows CE operating system, man-machine interface design, database development, and Driver Development, and thirdly information exchanges between ARM and MCU as well as ARM and DSP. The bearing simulation is still at its early stage in China, and with its steady operating, low cost and small bulk, the simulation of the dynamics of bearing based on ARM and DSP will be surly promising and definitely foster the maturity of the bearing simulation.
