The Design And Implementation Of XBRL Instance Creator

With the extensive application of Internet, the internet has become one of the major media which can issue and browse information. It is becoming inevitable development trend that enterprises issue report through the internet, traditional paper business report can not be directly used as a network report, one reason is that direct scanned documents can not directly for data analysis, another reason is that it is difficult to realize network sharing because database documentation have different types and storage format. In order to solve heterogeneous file sharing network, XML provides a public avenue for settlement, but comuputers recognize reports as a whole, and the contents of the reports can not be made any sense distinction.XBRL based on XML is a network exchanging applications in the business reports, which is the latest business information processing standards and technologies. XBRL set marker sepcification and taxonomy, through this specific marker, we can query and analysis information from XBRL documents, exchange data with other mainframe systems, and it is easy to show the different formats according to the different demands. The application of XBRL in the international has gained the successful experience , there are corresponding software products on the foreign market. However, the technology in China is still at the initial stage, in order to promote XBRL's development and application in China,we must research XBRL tools with own intellectual property rights.The content of this subject is the design and implementation of XBRL instance creator, it is the component of " Research and Implementation of Key Technology on the New Generation Business Report XBRL"(project number: 4073042),which belongs to Beijing Natural Science Foundation Project. Through the research of XBRL specifications, taxonomy and instance, analyze foreign software products, combine software engineering methods and parser technology of Java, analyze and design XBRL instance creator, finally realize its function. The main task of this paper is as follows:First, analyze XBRL technology principle including XBRLspecifications, taxonomy and instance, and research the related technology, such as XML, Xlink and Xpath, which offer necessary theory and technical supporting realizing XBRL instance creator.Second, collect foreign pupular XBRL instace creator, analyze and compare their architecture, function, performance, according to XBRL technology principle put forward a complete set of design and implementation framework, In this paper the design and development reference Fujitsu's XBRL instance creator.Thirdly, complete development of XBRL instance creator basis on design, realize the conversion from the database files to XBRL instance, and check it's format and caculation relations.Fourth, in the course of the study I have published two articles in chinese core journal which is "computer engineering", one article is "The Analysis and Application of Financial Staements Network Sharing by XBRL Technology", another is " The Design and Realization of XBRL Financial Statements Instance Creator", and in charge of writing chapter IV of book that is "XBRL data integration processing and analysis" edited by professor Lu:ke.The system architecture proposed in this paper has been tested through the development environment of the experimental platform, the results are satisfactory which is system is stable, reliable and strong extendibility, the follow-up products work is being carried on.
