With the development of the global popularization of the Internet and the networking application, the website has already become an important means for enterprises and institutions to carry on self-promotion and advertising. At the same time, how to construct their own website has also been an important topic with which the innumerable enterprises and institutions are faced. On the other hand, network application technology are developing fast, many websites can't keep up with the footsteps of the massive information derivation and the service pattern transform, so they have to spend a lot of time, manpower and physical resource processing information renewal and the maintenance work frequently. When the website expands, the conformity of inside and outside network and the branch website work become more complex, even sometimes the website must be reconstructed. In such situation, the research and development of CMS will have researchful meaning and practical value.CMS is a new fundamental application platform for designing website and uploading information on it. As a sort of website developing tool, the core function of CMS is to develop, construct, maintain and manage a dynamic website easily.This article elaborated the characteristic of the website content management system, then analyzed and compared the present application condition of the CMS, discussed the ASP.NET application to construct in the website content management system thoroughly, and gave the design proposal for the basic integrity website content management system. According to website construction and the content management demand analysis, the designer decided to adopt the module design. Finally,the paper constructed one highly effective,maintainable,reusable,flexible website content management system.
