The Image-stabilization system, also known as the Anti-vibration system, has been a standard configuration on cameras and videos. It is also important to telescopes, the vibrating image that caused by hand-hold shake could be enlarged by telescope, and vibration-compensation can reduce it to improve the obverse effect greatly. The anti-vibration system is installed only on advanced telescopes nowadays. In this paper, a suited image stabilizing system is developed for small telescope to reduce the vibration.Firstly, the principle of optical anti-vibration is studied in this paper, and the plan of an image stabilizing system which can detect the vibrating angle rate by gyroscopes, and compensate the light through compensating lens is proposed in this paper.Then,the driving system of compensating lens must be small and energy-saving to meet the need of small space in telescopes, a driving system that is small and powerful is developed and made out in this paper after experiments, and the mathematical model is proposed.Controlling the image stabilizing system is a position tracking control. To the disturbance and parametric change of the model, a robust control algorithm is proposed in this paper to ensure the tracking performance of the lens driving system.Finally, hardware that is suited for the space and power supply of small telescopes, as well as software, is designed and made out, operating the control algorithm and some logic function to achieve the image stabilizing system. The system is tested on the demo telescope, and the result is good.
